26 września br. w Domu Weselnym w Bogatyni, odbyło się spotkanie z okazji Dnia Seniora. Rokrocznie organizatorem tego typu spotkań na naszym terenie jest Klub Seniora „Serbinów" działający przy Radzie Osiedla nr 7. Spotkania te odbywają się w ramach współpracy Związku Miast „Mały Trójkąt", w tym grupy projektowej współpraca związków i stowarzyszeń. Każdego roku organizatorzy zapraszają zaprzyjaźnionych seniorów z Niemiec i Czech.

Spotkania te mają na celu wymianę doświadczeń, integrację środowiska seniorów, a także wspólną zabawę. Przy tego typu uroczystości nie mogło zabraknąć akcentu artystycznego, spotkanie urozmaicił występ Zespołu „Niezapominajki". Podczas uroczystości burmistrz Andrzej Grzmielewicz złożył wszystkim seniorom serdeczne życzenia.
